Definition:

The concept of a language is very difficult to define axiomatically. Here, we say that a language is a subclass of GeneticTaxon above the level of dialect. Language, in this sense, is often defined according to mutual intelligibility among its speakers, when the speakers of the language are located in the same general location, the sharing of a common writing system, or the sharing of a common literature.
